ASIN: B00DIQUBBQ |List Price: $2.99 Kindle | Format: Kindle  | Page Count: 89

"So Much The Better" is a chapter book for upper elementary but has also touched the hearts of all ages. The feedback the author received on her book, inspired her to get this message out to the world. So, she took the challenge and created a website and social media links to help get the book's message out to the world on-line. She also created a Curriculum Companion to the book which is offered for free on her website. It includes 21 lessons on character building that are taken directly from the book to help children become their best selves and inspire them to be great leaders.

The story is about a small lion named Ari. As a small cub, Ari's life is secure and safe. He plays and rests in the warm sunshine with his pride. One day this peaceful existence changes abruptly. Ari is taken far away from the other lions finding he is alone in unfamiliar surroundings. Ari is lost and without hope until he encounters help from Eliezer, a golden eagle who befriends him. Together they begin the long journey back to his homeland with many challenges to overcome. Upon his return Ari thought his quest had come to an end, but he realizes now, it has only just begun.

Picture
Author Bio: Award winning author Kathryn C. Lang, winner of the nation's first Tourism Fiction SELTI award, lets life infuse her creative spirit with stories of possibilities. Each woven creation paints a journey of a life that is lived beyond the ordinary and expected - even if for a moment.

Kathryn offers a phrase of hope in order to shine the Light on the moment. She works through her columns, articles, books and workshops. Her personal hope is that every person who encounters her words will feel as if those words were written (or spoken) just for her or him.

"In my fiction, I tell a story that provides an uplifting message entrenched in hope. In my non-fiction and columns, I offer words that will point to hope. In my talks, I tell stories that inspire hope. Helping others discover their path to hope is my focus.

I write to others like me, a woman that is trying to walk the tightrope of family, work and God - and keep them all in the right balance. She has a sense of humor, enjoys a little snark now and then, and references movies and songs in her every day speech. She plays with words and enjoys being around others that can keep up. She has a solid relationship with God, but hungers to go in deeper. She is not afraid of faith in her own life or in the lives of those she encounters. She lives a life reaching for the rainbow."

Somalia has split in two, with armed insurgents threatening American lives. China has emerged as a leading arms exporter, supplying weapons to Third World nations. But before National Security Advisor Willis Avery can deal with either danger, he faces a new challenge

On her maiden voyage, Beijing’s newest and most advanced nuclear submarine is destroyed by a weapon of unimaginable power. While the loss of the sub is kept secret, America and her allies want to know what happened. Avery believes a renegade faction of China’s Navy is behind the attack, striking from a secret naval facility in the South China Sea, and assembles a group to investigate.

Leading the mission is Marine Corps Lieutenant Michael Neill. Fresh from his assignment in the Ukraine, Neill and his team, with a little help from British Intelligence and the Royal Navy, must find a way to locate the weapon before it is deployed again. Along the way, they must stop a Chinese Admiral who plans on seizing control of an independent Taiwan. Neill’s squad is aided by a mysterious informant, but is he baiting them into a trap?
